A brand new innovation in protein powder: Promasil!
When you want to build great muscle, you will know that quality protein is essential. But did you also know that a variety of protein sources is important? The reason is that each different source contains a different abundance of amino acids, which is the kind of great variety that the body needs in order to keep building and restoring you to premium health. Promasil has seven different stage-released proteins sourced from milk, egg and goat milk.
Promasil contains a combination of seven high-quality proteins for a timed and sustained release:
Whey Concentrate
Goats milk (See Below)
Egg albumen (See Below)
One of the benefits about Promasil is the staged-release proteins: to maximise muscle growth, experts would say to have whey protein in the 1-2 hours following exercise and have micellar casein 2 hours after exercise. However, Promasil eliminates the guesswork and hard work into one fantastic tasting and high-quality product.
Other sources of protein include:
Goats milk:
Goats milk provides energy, is high in BCAAs, contains electrolytes and has been shown to have fantastic bioavailability in the body. It is also shown to be high in B vitamins and many minerals.
Egg albumen:
The albumen is the egg white: it contains all of the amino acids needed by the body for repair whilst being lactose-free; fat-free and cholesterol free.
Micelle casein:
The slowest form of released protein in Rivalus Promasil is micellar casein.
Casein is derived from milk in the cheese manufacturing process and accounts for approximately 80% of the protein in milk.
The benefit of using micellar casein is that it is one of the slowest releasing proteins: it can release protein and amino acids around the body approximately 6 hours after being eaten.
These slower-releasing proteins are great for both muscle building and preventing the breakdown of muscle. This is great for times when the user is not eating food for longer periods of time, such as during sleep, or between meals during the day.
The reason that micelle casein is one of the slowest releasing proteins is that, on entering the stomach, the protein forms clumps, which in turn, slows the release of amino acids around the body. Due to the “clumping” in the stomach, it can also help the user to feel full after ingesting. That is why those who are on a calorie deficit would benefit from considering a casein product.
Right after exercise is not the best time to have solely casein: within 1-2 hours of exercise whey is best, and casein after. Thankfully, Promasil eliminates the extra thinking and includes micellar casein for a well-rounded product of seven high-quality ingredients.
Other ingredients include:
Beta Alanine.
So give Promasil a whirl and find out how to maximise your hard work and effort in the gym by having a delicious scoop of Promasil in your shake, between meals or mixed into your oats!
